SEASON 20 of The Voice is inching to its end as the remaining artists will compete in a five-way instant save for a chance to earn the fifth and final spot in the finale.
The Voice will air two episodes this week, the first one will take place on May 17, and the second episode will be on May 18, which will determine who will be in the finale.
The remaining nine contestants have one more round before making it to the finale.
After nearly half of the singers were eliminated, each coach is left with two singers – except for Kelly Clarkson, who has three with Gihanna Zoë, Wheeler and Corey Ward.
The remaining nine singers will compete in the Live Top 9 Performances on May 17, as the results will be revealed during the May 18 episode.
Fans can catch the final remaining episodes of The Voice by tuning into NBC on May 17 and May 18 at 8pm.
The top vote-getter from each team will automatically earn a spot to compete in the finale, while the remaining artists will compete in a five-way instant save for a chance to earn the fifth and final spot in the finale.
Team Blake Shelton‘s contestant Cam Anthony scored a spot in the next round after receiving America’s vote, while the country singer used his save on Jordan Matthew Young.
Meanwhile, only two of Nick Jonas’ contestants- Rachel Mac and Dana Monique – secured their spots in the competition.
John Legend‘s team member Victor Solomon received the most overnight votes, while the coach used his save on Pia Renee.
Viewers also voted for Team Clarkson’s contestant Kenzie Wheeler to advance to the next round, while the singer used her save on Gihanna Zoë.

Team Nick singer Rachel Mac broke down in tears as she revealed her emotional journey that led her to The Voice Top 9.
The talented teen explained that she had suicidal thoughts prior to joining the show while battling with mental illness.
She said in a confessional: “I’ve gotten depression so bad in the past where I didn’t want to live anymore.
“But I got through it and I want other people to know they can too. And now I’m a 16-year-old in high school sitting with Nick Jonas
Nick said he was proud to have her on his team and even compared her vocal lane to superstars Kacy Musgraves, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish.
She went on to slay a performance of Christina Perri’s ballad – Human.
Blake got to team back up with his former contestant, Ian Flanigan, as the duo joined together on The Voice stage.
The pair sang Ian’s new song, Grow Up – a country rock tune.
Each of the musicians sang with an acoustic guitar as a live band rocked out behind them.
The God’s Country singer teased the performance before the show, telling fans to “get excited.”
THAT DON’T IMPRESS ME MUCH
As The Voice season 20 heads to a close, fans are slamming the series and claiming it doesn’t live up to it’s competitors, such as American Idol.
Team John contestant Pia Renee opened up about her choice to choose a reggae song – which she has always been passionate about.
“Where I come from, girls like me don’t sing reggae,” she said of her song choice.
Despite the adversity, Pia had John on his feet flashing a big smile due to how impressed he was by his team member.
“Pia doesn’t fit in, she stands out. She has a look, tone and voice different from every major artist out right now,” John gushed.
Pia belted out Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill’s Turn Your Lights Down Low to the delight of fans and all four panelists.
In addition to singing, she also rapped and danced around stage for the energetic performance.
LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS
The Voice trio – which includes finalists Cam, Kenzie and Corey – nicknamed themselves The Boys as they belt out Fooled Around And Fell In Love by Elvin Bishop.
“I’m super excited to sing with these guys, we’re going to have fun,” Corey said in the pre-taped package before.
All three fellas appeared to have a blast getting ready before they performed in vintage pastel suits.
The guys rocked the house and had coach Kelly dancing throughout the whole performance.

COMING UP ROSES
Team Blake’s Jordan Matthew Young gave a nostalgic rendition of John Conlee’s Rose Colored Glasses.
The performance was full on vintage vibes – from glow filters to 70’s era outfits.
He sat down and played guitar for a majority of the song with fellow musicians on various instruments.
Kelly said it was a “really good moment” for the country rocker as it was the “perfect” song choice.
His coach, Blake, called the “crucial” moment “incredible.”
TAKE ‘EM TO CHURCH
Team John contestant Victor Soloman belted out a powerful rendition of gospel song I Can Only Imagine.
He revealed his mom was a big inspiration behind the song choice as she repeatedly requested he sing religious ballads this season.
After singing with a talented choir, the judges stood on their feet with a standing ovation.
His coach, John, gushed: “It’s very good we get to have you on this show ministering to the country. That was beautiful!”
NICK’S PAINFUL INJURY
Host Carson Daly asked Nick: “How are you feeling buddy?”
Nick looked serious, and responded: “I’m doing okay, I’m alright but I’ve been better.
“I’ve got a cracked rib from a spill on a bike and a few more bumps and bruises.
“Just want to say that in case I’m not as physically enthusiastic as I usually am. Blake, please don’t make me laugh it will hurt.”
The country star then jokingly said he the boy bander was “trying to get the sympathy vote.”
‘BRING SNOOP BACK!’
THE Voice fans want Snoop Dogg made a “permanent” judge after coming on as a guest this season because the famous rapper is “what the show needs.”
Snoop, 49, was invited to be a mentor as the knockout rounds kicked off, and it didn’t take long for fans to immediately fall in love with the idea of giving the rapper an everyday job on the popular program.
Viewers took to Twitter to praise Snoop, as one person wrote, “Snoop needs to be made a permanent judge of The Voice! 8 mins in, and he’s the best!”
Another chimed in: “Make Snoop a judge – The Voice needs a rhyming judge,” while one added, “Snoop on The Voice is exactly what I didn’t know I needed.”
More praise came rolling in as one fan wrote: “Snoop is giving me life right now,” with one viewer gushing, “Snoop is cracking me up right now! He needs to be on it permanently!”
“Uncle Snoop being a voice coach, high as a kite reminds me anything is possible – it gives me hope for my future,’ another person added.
THE GIFT OF SONG
The coaches amused fans this season when they gave contestants who scored a place on their team individual gifts.
Kelly – who started the trend – gave out varsity Team Kelly bomber jackets.
Nick handed out notebooks as he infamously takes a lot of notes while Blake gifted each person a bobblehead with his likeness.
However, it was the EGOT winner John with perhaps the most memorable present – the gift of song.
John sang a customized “welcome to Team Legend” tune on the piano after each pick was inducted on his team.
In honor of tonight’s finale, John made songs for each of the other coaches – which he jokingly referred to as his “best work.”
BLAST FROM THE PAST
Coaches Blake and Kelly are set to reunite with two of their former contestants on tonight’s episode.
During the live performance, Blake will be paired with Ian Flanigan and Kelly will join Jake Hoot for special duets.
Ian – who competed on Blake’s team in 2020 – was one of the finalists on Season 19.
Meanwhile, Jake – who was on Team Kelly – won the crown in Season 17.
Pop star Ariana Grande will be replacing Nick Jonas next season on The Voice.
Ariana shocked fans after she tweeted the big news, writing: “surprise !!!
“I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice !
“@nickjonas we will miss you!”
The newly-married singer’s co-workers began to welcome her into the fold.
Nick saluted his replacement, writing: “Congrats @ArianaGrande ! You’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family😎”
Fellow judge John tweeted out: “So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!!”
Following the interview, many fans of the show took to social media to express their distress at the thought of Blake leaving the show.
One person wrote: “The Voice is unquestionably the best competition show. When Adam Levine left the show, I mourned; but if Blake Shelton leaves, I’ll stop watching. HE is The Voice!”
A second one commented: “Blake Shelton is the best thing that ever happen on The Voice, wouldn’t watch it if he leaves.”
And a third one shared: “Please don’t leave The Voice, Blake! It would be boring without you! You make the show!”
BYE BYE BLAKE?
Voice fans believe Blake Shelton dropped a hint he will quit the show after 20 seasons in a new interview.
Blake, 44, appeared on the Today Show recently, where he was Hoda Kotb’s co-host for the day.
After first greeting each other, they began to talk about what kind of life he expects to have once he ties the knot with Gwen, 51.
“Do you picture yourself in ten years, you and Gwen, just out in Oklahoma – not jetting all over the place, do you see yourself living a much simpler life way way down the road?” Hoda asked him.
“I hope that’s not too far down the road. Ten years sounds like way too long to me. I’d like to see that sooner rather than later,” he told her.
“I mean, we both pretty much have taken it to the limit as far as our careers go and touring and now the television thing, it’s been fortunate to accomplish a lot of things that hopefully at some point we’ll get to live some life.
“I think we’re both ready for that honestly.”
John Legend’s team is made up of two impressive vocalists who have a chance to secure another Voice win for the EGOT champ.
The crooner will have Victor Solomon and Pia Renee sing on tonight’s top 9.
The country crooner has young star and fan-favorite Cam Anthony to compete in the top 9.
He will be joined by rocker Jordan Matthew Young as Blake’s final two artists.
The newest star to join the coaching squad – and its youngest member – is hoping to score his first-ever win with his finalists.
Nick Jonas, 28, has vocalists Dana Monique and Rachel Mac representing his team in the Top 9.
The two ladies have a wide range – with Dana belting out big ballad notes and Rachel offering whispered high notes.
Despite having tough competition, the Jonas Brother is positive he will walk away the coaching champ of season 20.
TOP 9 TIME
Part one of The Voice finale will see the Top 9 contestants from this season competing on the big stage.
Kelly Clarkson’s contender, Corey Ward, won last week’s Instant Save – which secured him a spot in tonight’s show.
He will be joined by Gihanna Zoe and Kenzie Wheeler.
