GOOD AFTERNOON FROM TOTTENHAM
Welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs are ready to welcome Serge Aurier back as he has overcome a calf injury that made him miss the last four matches.
Giovani Lo Celso has also returned to full training after a long ordeal with a hamstring injury but won’t be fit for another two weeks.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho said: “Serge is fine, he’s fine. Trained today with the team without any limitations. As I was saying, everybody is training with the team and Gio is the only one that is not in conditions to play this weekend.
“I think even next week will be quite premature for not to say impossible, but he’s coming. Today for the first time in a long time, the medical department could watch the draw as they didn’t have any players inside.”
Burnley have received an injury boost of their own thanks to a week between games as Chris Wood and Dale Stephens have returned to training.
Jay Rodriguez has also managed to overcome a knock of his own and could be in contention for the clash against Tottenham.
But Robbie Brady and Ashley Barnes remain sidelined with an Achilles and thigh injury respectively while Johann Berg Gudmundsson is also unlikely to feature due to a groin strain – Erik Pieters has been described as “touch and go” by manager Sean Dyche
